Well, we're almost here - the Season 6 finale of Modern Family is tonight, and with it the finale of Alex's high school story.
While Alex will mostly be in the background tonight (the major plot line being the latest chapter in Haley and Andy's story, although I think it won't be the end of it regardless of what happens tonight) her graduation party probably will have its moments of emotion, especially at the end of the episode (someone's bound to make a heartfelt speech about how proud they are of Alex, and there's a good chance Alex gets the last word and says nice things about her family). At least that's what I want to see.
The only thing I really don't want to see is Alex being unhappy with whatever gift Claire ends up getting her (she probably will, though, at least at first).
I'm not expecting any major fireworks or cliffhanger material for next season (e.g. Alex announcing she's deferring college for one reason or another), but, you never know.
I'll have the recap up at some point - maybe at the usual time, but maybe not - it may depend on how emotional I get.
