"It's The Hap-Happiest Season Of All(?)" (First Impressions - "The Last Thanksgiving" and "The Last Christmas" - Season 11, Episodes 7 and TBD)

When is a two-for-one special not so special?  When there's no mention of Alex anywhere.

The synopses for the Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes are now online.  Also, there is a more general press release of ABC's holiday programming which sheds a little more light on the Christmas episode.

The only thing that might marginally affect Alex is a note in the general release about Claire being offered a (new??) job with Jay's dog bed company.  Since on Wednesday we know Claire has to deal again with that privacy breach at the closet company, it's possible that things won't end well there.  I'll discuss what that may or may not mean for Alex on Wednesday in what otherwise still figures to be a very light pre-show post.

I suppose there's always a hope for a hidden Alex story in either episode, but right now it looks like a pretty blah holiday season.
