"You Had A Busy Day Today"

Several, actually (I just finished an 8 of 9 day work stretch which included cancelling 2 planned days off at almost the last minute, and where the one day off I did have included a doctor's appointment), so if your wondering where I've been and where's my wrap up of Season 10 (not that's that going to be much of a deal), well, I'll hopefully get to it Sunday or Monday.  I would have done it today, but I just awoke from a pizza coma...

I suppose, on the bright side, Alex did not have the worst birthday in the family – in fact, in a sense, hers went better than almost anybody elses – she didn't have her heart broken (for once) or had it upstaged by someone else.

And so, we're down to the (unusually early) season finale, “A Year Of Birthdays”.  More than three months after it happened, we will finally find out how Alex “celebrated”1 her 21st birthday.

I'm trying to find a bright spot (other than Alex graduating, of course) to what was a bitter disappointment of an episode (OK, overall maybe it wasn't one of the worst, but as far as Alex is concerned, oh H-E-Double Hockey Sticks yeah, it was a major bummer), but all I can find is maybe one or two tiny ones.
