So, the hug was a red herring, after all.


Two questions in what was just another “there” episode (both for Alex and in general, though at least she did get to do a little more than last week):

1. OK, granted it was a cheap motel with little security, but how in the world does Alex get to go into the bar and get a drink for Claire?
2. And if the original plan was for the Dunphys to stay only one night (why did that change, anyway?), why did Alex bring her cello?
