"Mr. Telephone Man, There's Something Wrong With My Line" (First Impressions - "Connection Lost" - Season 6, Episode 16)

Fortunately, it looks like SpoilerTV got Modern Family's press release for "Connection Lost" late and added it after posting the rest of the releases, so we don't have to go too far into the post to find it this time.

It doesn't look very intriguing from a "what's happening to Alex" standpoint (she'll probably play a role but she's not going to be the focus), but the fact they may actually go with a one story dominated plot is interesting (certainly it's at least odd they're only mentioning one story, about trying to find Haley after a fight between her and Claire and its potential ramifications).  And it looks like it may be a more dramatic episode than usual.  Whether they use up too much drama leaving little for any Alex stories down the road remains to be seen (yes, they could theoretically put a lot of drama into almost every remaining episode but that's highly unlikely  - the amount of drama they allow isn't totally finite but they do have limits).

And that road to the next episode with an Alex story may be very long - I've never had much hope* for "Closet? You'll Love It!" (episode 17) from an Alex standpoint (because even without knowing any details we can guess one story is for Jay, leaving only 2 other chances), and the next episode after that ("Spring Break") is three weeks after that and sounds more like a Haley-oriented title anyway.  Of the other two known titles, "Integrity" (ep. 19) sounds more promising than "Knock'em Down" (ep. 20), but if it is it may come at a price (does it mean Alex's integrity might be brought into question?).

*Actually, I don't have a lot of hope for the episode from an overall show standpoint either - that this episode kept getting pushed back again and again (IIRC it originally was the 11th episode) makes me wonder if it's a stinkbomb they're trying to bury, especially since it has been pushed down to the week after sweeps (March 4th).
